I am trying to think of things that will make our moving day easier. Everyone likes the idea of our getting Subway but would it be cheaper to just get the meats and breads and cheeses separately so everyone can make what they want?

Any other things we can do to make the move easier and less expensive? We are renting a 26 foot u-haul which is the same price as a 24 foot. We have our friends helping us. What other things could we do?

Serious replies only please.

My friend is going over on holiday to the U.S. in June and I've asked him to bring me back some food that I'm curious of or just miss. I've asked him to get Oreos, Twinkies, Cap'n Crunch and Lucky Charms which used to be sold here in the U.K. I miss them so much!

My question is - Is this possible? Are there are any laws that would stop him from bringing these back to England with him? I think I've heard that fruit, veg and meat is not allowed or is a lot of fuss to bring over. But is this the same for the products I mention above?

Thanks for any help!

P.S. Are there any other food products that are equally as good or better than the ones I mention, and not sold here, that I could ask my friend to bring over?

I plan to travel to England in December, and I know I need to get the ball rolling on a Passport relatively soon. How soon, exactly, do I need to get this started? And how much, approximately, is it going to cost me?

the one for adults or for children under 16. Under 16 is cheaper but would she need a new one as soon as she was 16 to travel to the States in June?
