I know that the Pampas is also in Argentina, but there is an area of Pampas in the south of Brazil. What I need to know is what I should pack, and why I might need it. Thanks!

An atlas because you should be in Argentina.

The Pampas are mainly in Argentina, rather than Brazil. The region is similar to the North American Great Plains--mostly temperate, but with occasional extremes in weather. There are definite seasons there (opposite of those in the northern hemisphere), and it can get quite chilly at night year-round. Dress is more casual than in places like Buenos Aires, in the same way that people would dress more casually in Nebraska or Oklahoma than they would in New York.
