Not sure if I should bring a regular suitcase or get a larger backpack. We will be traveling by planes and not by trains. thanks!

Bring something that has extra room in it as you can do a lot of shopping in China and Thailand. Otherwise purchase an extra suitcase or backpack when you get to China. Backpacks are usually lighter so you would have less chance of going over the airline weight limit.

some thing you wont miss thats not to expensive in case it gets stolen.and something secure so noone can put anything that doesnt belong to you in it,if you get my meaning
