We're taking our first trip to Costa Rica. I am very excited. I know I will need shorts and lightweight pants, plus a rainjacket. I would like to take a skirt and matching top to wear at night, to be a bit more dressy. I would like to fit in with what locals are wearing if possible, and to be comfortable and hopefully look nice.

What clothing would those of you who've traveled to Costa Rica recommend?

All answers appreciated, thank you!

Would it be okay to use a TSA approved lock flying from the US into Canada? I heard that airport officials in other countries do not have the required keys to open TSA approved locks, but cannot find any definite answers about using a lock when flying into Canada.

I'm renting a 6'X12' trailer to pull 1500 miles behind my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Not sure exactly the best way to pack it to keep from fish tailing. Should the heavier things go in front (toward Jeep) or evenly distribute weight?
Any info would be appreciated.

My folks discourage me from bringing along with me my fave black leather shoulder bag together with my regular handcarry trolley bag. The reason I love lugging it along my most important jaunts is because it can fit important documents the size of 14 x 8 cm legal paper and lots of stuff. However, this is the first time I'm bringing it on an international flight and I don't need the extra hustle if I'd be charged extra extra.

My husband and I had to renew this year, and sent in our applications and old passports sometime in February. It's supposed to take about 6 weeks. I checked online, and they are backed up. I tried to call - we are leaving for Europe in 2 weeks. I can't get through on the phone. Any help would be appreciated.

Is there food I can make him to bring with him, I know they have lots of rules about what you can and can not bring.

Does anyone know where I can buy large moving boxes in NYC. I have been to Kinkos and Staples, but they don't have big packing boxes, only boxes that fit documents. Or do you know where to get cheap suitcases, cause I could use them instead of boxes.

About how much does it cost to hire movers to pack up your house and move your stuff to a new address? We will be moving less than 5 miles away, if distance makes a difference.
