Uhaul usually sells boxes. Probably any local moving company could help you out. You might also check with a mattress store and see if they have one you could get for free! The mattresses I have bought in the last couple of years just come wrapped in plastic but its worth a shot.

The queen size mattress will not work on a full size box spring, it would hang off on all sides and be very uncomfortable. Are you sure you can not work out a way to maneuver the queen size box spring into your room.

Check out a bedding shop. They'll have boxes that the mattresses came in. Just ask the clerk if you can have a box....they don't want them and will most likely have a ton of them around.
Good luck!

Hey man, I'm from down under but I would suggest you go to a bed selling store and ask if they can supply you with one. Might be charged for it but, that's the only way I think you may be lucky.

Uline has them, but you have to buy five at a time: http://www.uline.com/Browse_Listing_429.asp?searchedkeywords=matress%20box
Is there a UPS store, mailboxes etc., or other mailing & shipping service store around?

Did you go to the U-haul store? They may have something.
