I am going grocery shopping to pick up a few things he can carry on the plane in case he gets hungry. Any suggestions on light snacks I can pack for him?

I don't mind packing his lunch... besides he would not allow me to do it. I am doing because I care, and I want to do it. Doesn't make me his %itch!

Pack whatever he likes to eat. Crackers, cookies, trail mix, and sandwiches are good. Just make sure that the snack is hearty and won't mind being banged around in his carry-on or hand as he travels. Don't pack him a drink, he won't be able to clear security with it. He can purchase one after he clears security. Don't forget to include the note in the bag that reminds him what he's coming back to when he comes home.....

Hope he has a great flight!

First off, I think caring for someone you know is a very good way to show he is important. Men need reassurance. You are doing just right.
Secondly, on the snacks, I would think of fruit roll ups, nuts and maybe some crackers w.cheese ( from kraft), also a fruit. If he has a bigger appetite, maybe some salame, cracker and cheese i/o cracker snacks only.
Hope it helps.

pretzels; those 100 cal. snack packs (nabisco makes them); etc. fruit (apples, bannan, frozen grapes)I have another sweet surprise suggestion: send a "care package" to the hotel or wherever he is staying. It will be there when he gets there and you can pack a lot more in there.

specific - you are able to. in basic terms make specific that's dry nutrition. Bagel or crackers would be superb. be conscious regarding the convenience of alternative passengers and don't p.c.. something which will create a scent - eg freshly cooked warm nutrition.

I am pretty sure everything on this list would be good on a plane:

Its from ListAfterList.com, a great new Web site where you can find and create lists about anything and everything!

Whatever snack you have at home that you don't really eat, just give it to him that might be some good use for him.

Not sure what the flight restrictions still are, but I would avoid liquids, so no drinks. He can get drinks on the plane.
Small packs or crackers, cookies, a bagel, perhaps even a sandwich.

Nilla Wafers are really good and last pretty long. Vienna sausages are good (contains beef, pork and chicken). Maybe some nutrigrain bars. Also make sure you dont forget to get some drinks. Capri sun maybe.

granola bars, 100 calorie snack packs, a water bottle...nothing with strong smells or that will make him extremely thirsty.
