Other than the basic clothes/toiletries, my #1 essential item is my iPod! Can't go anywhere w/o it! I usually bring a book or two and depending on how I am traveling, car vs. plane, I will usually bring my laptop. My cell phone and a bottle of water is also a must!

a lot of formulation, 4 bottles & a bottle brush, till you breastfeed. (each and every so often different international places do not carry an analogous manufacturers & I consistently ignore to deliver a bottle brush with me.) toddler water (some international places the water isn't secure for American toddlers - like Mexico) Diapers and wipes (if your new child is delicate - mine can purely placed on Huggies; plus the fee could be bigger) sufficient outfits for 2 weeks (you are able to consistently wash them) toddler tub kit with wash, shampoo, lotion & oil a new child drugs emergency kit with toddler tylenol, little tummies, saline drops, thermometer, vasaline, nasal aspirator, and your new child's shot information.
