I have heard about huge fees for too-heavy luggage on ryanair. I am wondering if I can take things out of the luggage and throw them away in order to meet the weight limit. Or, once they have weighed the luggage, am I stuck paying for it no matter what?

I live in Arkansas, so good concerts rarely ever come to my state. I always have to go long distances of several hours. There is one that I want to see this summer, but it would be 7 hours driving to get to it. I don't really want to drive that much and have to drive it again back in the same weekend to get back before Monday, but I don't want to spend a lot of money for a plane ticket either because I'm going to have to pay for hotel too. I just can't decide. However, I'm willing to do one of them because I want to see it so much. What would you do if it was your decision?

My Mom and I are going to London, Paris, and Italy and we really need to pack light. So what would you experienced travelers suggest we bring for a couple days in London in May, and June and July in Paris and Italy?

My Mom tends to be cold, so I am thinking she will need to bring at least one sweater. And should we expect some rain?

Thank you, ahead of time!

I just moved into the Pines at Lindenwold NJ and I want to know if the tap water is safe to drink. The Pines is cheaper than your average apartment complex in NJ and there were some defects with my apartment. Just wondering if the tap water is safe or not.

I'm traveling to a new job soon and I'll live abroad for a year or two. I'd like to take extra luggage (and pay extra bag fees) so I have most of what I need with me. Has anyone traveled with a lot of bags lately? Are there carts readily available in airports (and while you move through customs) so a single person can transport several (4) bags? Any tips from recent travelers welcome.

I received this from my mortgage lender (a reputable company in South Florida) for doing business with them. It is for a vacation from 3 days/2 nights up to 7 days/6nights for 2 Adults/4 kids in a hotel room less than two miles from Disney. It also includes a day cruise with meals, complimentary breakfast, and bus service to ship or area theme parks, and discount Disney tix. Does this sound legit? It is for $25 per night. We are planning a trip to Disney anyway and this would help reduce our costs tremendously. Have you ever done this before? The website indicates in several different areas that it is NOT a time share.

While at my daughter-in laws mothers house She allowed our 2 year old grandson have a ciggarette and pretend to smoke it. She thought it was cute,I on the other hand was outraged. I told my son about it,but he said that he's asked her not to do that anymore.Apparently that didn't work. I didn't say anything because my son and daughter are seperated and I was visiting the other grandmothers house.I'm at a lost on what to do. Any suggestions?

I've gotten 2 different answers. The cruise line tells me in '08 that we will definately need passports, but we're going before that. But then the passport website states that we do need them.
The $100 per passport really cuts into our budget.
I'm starting to think that the cruise is not worth it at all.

I will be travelling 15 hours by plane with my 17 month old who unfortunately suffers from severe food allergies to milk, eggs and peanuts. Due to this we have to bring our own food for him. What meals do you suggest to bring that is safe not to be refrigerated? Thanks.

We're going to Canada on the 29th May for just over a week. We'll probably take about £1,200. Do most places still take Traveller's cheques or are we best just sticking to cash? I'm worried about taking that much cash with us
