My Mom and I are going to London, Paris, and Italy and we really need to pack light. So what would you experienced travelers suggest we bring for a couple days in London in May, and June and July in Paris and Italy?

My Mom tends to be cold, so I am thinking she will need to bring at least one sweater. And should we expect some rain?

Thank you, ahead of time!

Your problem is the weather in London is very different than in Italy (with Paris somewhere in between). Plan on rain and it being cool at night. I just got back from London last week, it was warm in the day, but not quite short weather yet. However it was very cool to cold at night.

Bring layers for London, and suntan for Paris and Italy. dont bother about sunglasses for london as we hardly get any sunlight over here.

If your going to Europe (or anywhere) on a trip, the best advice I can give is, take half the clothes, and twice the money that you plan on!!

Something for a warm sunny day - something for a warm wet day - something for a not so warm dull day - something for a not so warm dull wet day. It is summer so the weather should be reasonably okay - no snow

Bring nothing, and buy cloths when you get there.
