Of course. One of the purposes of international tourism is to promote peace, understanding and dialogue between various cultures, religions and civilizations. When we arrive in a foreign land, we have ample opportunities to show the values we stand for. It also gives us the chance to learn more about other people and their culture. Each individual tourist, including you, can therefore be called an ambassador for peace. Unlike government ambassadors however, we do not get benefits such as diplomatic immunity.
