I am a born US citizen and my husband is a resident alien. His father is in Mexico and is really sick and we need to go be with him now. Do we have to have passports to enter and leave Mexico or can we use other documentation?

I would make sure to have a passport for CYA (cover your ***) purposes. Do you want to be stuck in another country because you don't have a passport on you?

Best to be safe rather than sorry and get a passport. Use the rush service.

Yes.. you do need the passports. Use a service and pay for rush service. They will get it done quickly.

I have used ZVS.com with good success.
