This is what a ticket agent said to my wife in San Diego last night even though they had 12 or 13 empty seats they would not allow my wife to fly without purchasing another seat, and then if no one used it they would give her a refund. They would not give her a refund there but she would have to wait for 10 to 14 days to recieve it. She was there with our 3 year old child and had to stay in a hotel, which we didnt have money for. We did get help from another source and she did get on a flight this morning but isnt that discrimination esp. when my daughter who was with her at teh airport said another women on the same flight who was large told them she refuse to pay and then they said ok. Who can we complain to? Help us please.
