Yucatan or Hawaii......I want to go to Yucatan and see the Maya ruins....My husband has been there before many times, but it will be my first....We both have never been to Hawaii....What places would you suggest we visit in Hawaii? Which would you choose, Hawaii or Yucatan, MX? Thanks~

Since I love Hawaii and been there many times, I would go with Hawaii! So much to see and enjoy. Go to different islands, "Island Hoppers" the little planes are pretty cheap so you can spend a few days on different islands with no problem.
Kaui, the "garden isle" is wonderful. Lush, green and the least populated (pretty much). Poipou Beach area nice! Then there is the Big Island. You've got to see the Mauna Lani Bay Resort, stay there if you can. A wonderful place with a private beach. Drive to the north end of the island and hike along the coast, pretty and not many people. Maui is too popular, but worth going to take a look. Mt. Haliakala (sp?) is worth getting up before dawn to see the sun rise. Can I carry your suitcases???? : )

If I could choose, it would be Hawaii but with the new law in affect at the airports, In Canada anyways, it might be cheaper to go to Yucatan, Mx. It sounds like a lovely place to visit.

I would go to Yucatan, because who else can say, "I went to Yucatan!" Everyone goes to Hawaii. Be adventurous!

Hawaii -- more things to do -- you can even island hop so you can see all the islands. They say that Hawaii is the 'fall in love state' -- beautiful balmy weather is perfect for a trip with your S.O. Hawaii has many ruins too you can see.

I'd choose Hawaii. There's a more tropical feel there; and, if you go to Hawaii, it'll a new and exciting experience for both of you!

i say explore Hawaii togehter as a couple and later on i would say go to Yucatan either together or by yourself or with some close friends...
