The people on the Honduran Bay Islands (Utila and Roatan). They moved to the islands about a hundred years ago from Grand Cayman, so they speak English, but in a really distorted Caribbean accent it is very bizarre. I've heard weird combinations of accents but the one that sounded the strangest was a friend of a friend I met yesterday, a Dutch Australian. It sounded like her accent was being pulled in to directions simmultaneously, with some really short curt words and some long drawly ones. Poor love, it was like tug-of-war in her mouth.

Guy in high school I knew. He was Chinese, but his parents immigrated to the Dominican Republic, so he had this mixture of a Chinese and Spanish accent. Weirdest thing I ever heard!

Tie between Welsh or Scottish. Not just the accent but the unusual phraseology. You know that they're speaking English but you can't understand a word they're saying.

A bushman who had been taught english by a Glaswegian Scotsman. He knew what he was talking about but some of the words came out sounding so different. He was a very proud man and no one dared laugh at his pronunciation but sometimes it was so hard to contain it.
The other one wasn't so much strange as startling. I came out of pub and was listening to the the two cockneys behind me.I turned to ask them something and they were both Chinese.

I find the Welsh accent funny, all those letters that look like they cannot be pronounced together make it sound really strange. It's cool though.

I lived in Germany for a summer during highschool. We went to a Chinese resturant for dinner one night... The waiters spoke German with a Chinese accent! It was so cool to listen to, but impossible to understand. I giggle just thinking about it. >:)

I love hearing the Indian accent, kinda singing tunes.
Australian is most difficult for me to catch what they're saying.
