I know that Mexico is a different country(no smart remarks) but I have heard mixed advice to whether it is neccesary to exchange currency (US-->Mexican)?

Is there a boat or a ferry from San Felipe to Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) also If you drive from san diego to San Felipe can you continue down the coast to cab o or do you have to go back up to Ensenada than go down to cabo? I am driving down the coast does anyone have any tips/suggestions/comments?? Thank You!

My friend and I are thinking about going to Cozumel in August? I am nervous about hurricanes. Has anyone been in August before? Am I overreacting? It looks beautiful but am very nervous since it's hurricane season. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Looking for a house to rent for one week in November during Thanksgiving. Prefer to be in Santo Tomas or near Ensenada area. Oceanfront not necessary, but nice. Quiet, clean home for older group interested in the arts, not partying.

Can anyone help. I am not familiar with the area. Would love a farmhouse, old winery, or authentic mexican villa for a cultural experience and get away.

I have a lienholder on my car and make payments. I would like to drive into Mexico for vacation. I have US insurance and understand I will need mexican insurance. Can I drive my car in Mexico without owning it outright and having my title in hand? I have heard two different stories on this and am trying to get a straight answer.

We were thinking about driving down to the border and either walking over or taking a bus. Which one should we do?

We want to get in and get out kinda thing so we can say we went there. We want to get meal and also do alittle haggling. Can that be done close to the border or have to be closer in the center of town? Is it a walkable distance?

Is the bus trip worth it?

Any recommendations on where to eat or visit on our short time over the border?

I know this is alot of different questions but any information or input with be greatly appreciated.
