Listen my best friend is in Mexico and I am trying to get in touch with her because of a family emergency. How can I get in find out what hotel she is staying at in Mexico? And how can I get the number to her hotel phone?

There are many large and small cities in Mexico. You have to narrow down your search to a specific city or town. Did she leave an itinerary with anyone family/friend?
If she used a travel agency to book the trip call them and tell them to call her, as they will probably not give the information to you unless you are a family member.
Ask someone to go through her personal belongings that she left at home and see if there is any identifiable information that may help you find a city where she is staying.

It's probably impossible unless you're leaving out some details. They are staying in a hotel somewhere in Mexico..I'd say they would be impossible to find unless you know a location.

John is correct. I would find a hotel (as I did) in the old downtown area. It is quite beautiful and there are shops and restaurants. The Southwestern food there is wonderful. Enjoy Santa Fe. I sure did. If you do get a chance to rent a car, get in to the mountains outside of town. There are many Native American ruins to explore and beautiful places to see.

you could try having the US Consulate in Mexico locate them.

you can call the u.s. embassy, which could help u locate her. If u know where she is located like Cancun, then go on hotels.com or google to locate her.
