This question posed considering a $750 rent allowance. Also, is it feasible to live in Rosarito and work an 8 hour day in San Diego? If working 8 hours, what would be the total time if driving and border crossing are included? Thanks.

Actually, I am considering living in the States while my wife and infant son will be living there for a year. I will be supporting them. Of course, safety and cleanliness are important. I can afford rent up to $800/month. I thought about Tijuana, and I could live with them and drive across the border everyday, but I am worried about the hassle. Seems like waiting in line 2 hours each day would be a pain. Also concerned about safety in TJ. Have been toying with the idea of San Felipe and me coming to visit on weekends. Again, it's only for a year or so. I wish to say this with sensitivity to all concerned. Our lack of Spanish speaking skills means we would benefit from a community with a population of English speaking people while we blend in and make friends with all inhabitants. Thanks for any advice.

Hello,my boyfriend is from Mexico & i'm a light skinned Indian women.People assume i'm mexican,all the time.When mexican women find out i'm not Mexican,they are so rude to me.I can speak a bit of Spanish & they always ask him why he is not with a woman from a Spanish Speking country.I can not help the fact that I'm hot,size 4 with big boobs,caramel skin & green eyes.They even have called me Fea,Mierda,Tonta, Indio & others.Why must they be so racist???

On a few occasions,Mexican women have asked my boyfriend why is not with a woman from a Spanish-Speaking Counrty/(I can speak a bit Spanish)This is very stupid.All races reside in South &Central America.(My Spanish teacher was a black men from Nicaruaga-Ramon)White Latinos see Tony Orlando,Gloria Estefan,Geraldo Rivera,Thalia Sodi,Shakira,Ricky Martin,Penelope Cruz,ect.Imagine how angry they would be if he brought home a black woman named Juanita from Cuba,Columbia,Panama,ect.
