D children need shot to go to Mexico from the US. I am just wondering?

No, they don't need shots, other than the normal ones they should have anyway. People cross over into Mexico daily, and vice versa(these are illegals, sadly). At the border, you need to have Mexican insurance if driving into Mexico. By plane, only your Visa, ticket and other proofs of identification.
But as to diseases, and vaccinations to prevent them, not necessary.

No shots are required unless you are more comfortable making sure your children are extra protected. We go annually. There isn't anything different there than here in the States unless you plan some off track tour into some non-tourist area.
