You did not like the 9 answers you got to the same question a little while ago? If you are DETERMINED to exchange your dollars for pesos BEFORE going to Mexico, just CALL your bank and ask if they can do it. If they do not do it , I am sure they can recommend a bank that does. I will tell you once more...this is not wise!

You can exchange dollars for pesos at almost every US international airport, AAA office and American Express office. Some will charge fees others will not. You will almost always do best by exchanging them in Mexico at any place except a hotel.

I got pesos before my trip to Mexico. I went to an American Express office. I have a card with them but anyone can go there and use their services. Anyplace you go will charge you a fee that's built into whatever exchange rate they actually give you.

Any AmeriKan bank with "NATIONAL" in the name can exchange U.S. Dollars for foreign currencies and vice versa
The BEST RATE is to exchange U.S. Dollars when you actually get INTO the other country... and a bank is the best place to do it.
AmeriKan banks give a lousy exchange rate for any foreign currency into U.S. Dollars.

yes, but here is the best way to do it.
go open a checking account at bank of america and when in mexico use a Santander Serfin bank ATM. you will not be charged anything at all this way.
the ATM will say that there is a charge, but bofa will waive it.
this is the best way so that you aviod all the commissions, fees, etc to convert.
you will get the actual rate the the stock market if offering.
