American tourists always complain about how poor, slow, dirty, polutated, high crime rate, bad service, etc etc mexico is when they are here on vacation and bad mouth Mexico when they go back. They however keep coming back for Mexcian vacations. over and over again ....Any ideas as to why ?.

Please help me to understand....i can understand if they just got here...but, if they've been here for years and still don't know english, what's up with that? and yes, i live in LOS ANGELES, CA, where's there's alot of non-english speakers

I am a indian (indian as from india) and living in Mexico. I am trying to find some good indian spices (curry etc) and cant find any. Any ideas, where I can get some in Jalisco state. Also, are there any indian communitys in Jalisco or Nayarit. If so where ?.

This place was suppose to be a colony the Mexicas lived in. For some unknown reason they migrated and form Tenoxtitlan, which is now known as Mexico City. Supposely this place still exsists on the Pacific Coast. It is suppose to be an island.

I am an American living full time in Mexico next to the beach. What I always see is that tourists will come from America or Canada to an all exclusive hotels and stay within its compound, eat drink etc and not venture out. They then go back after their few short days thinking that all of Mexico is just like the hotel area ( a over priced white neighbourhood) or go back thinking that outside of the hotel Mexico is just to dangerous to go to or venture out to. They dont see anything except the hotel and go back bad mouthing Mexico even though they havent see anything. They wont even take a taxi, bus or walk to the towns right next to the hotels. Why come if you want to hang out with other American / canadians and not see mexico but yet go back saying you had been to Mexico for a vacation when you have seen nothing.
I am hopeing that someone out there has done it just the way I explained it and maybe can be honest and tell me why do Tourists do this.
