We were thinking about staying for a week and a half next May at a resort in Mexico. Where is the nicest, yet cheapest resort for a couple to go? I'd appreciate links, or even the name of a resort that I can look into. THANK YOU!!!

My brother is going to study in mexico city from February to June, so I will go there for 2 weeks (not 2 weeks in mexico city, I want to move!). When would be the best period to go (I want to avoid the hurricanes and spring break students...), and what should I absolutely see? I'd love to see archeologic sites, which ones are the best? And of course, couple of day at the sea! And if you know some good places to stay for the night (cheaper as possible, I don't really care about comfort, but I would love little places in the jungle for example), let me know! when you travel to Mexico if you need to get a passport or a permission.........
the reason i ask i am planning to go this weelend and when i come
back i do not want to get stuck at the border.......and having them tell me i can't
come back..?

I understand that only recently you are allowed to take 2 vehicles into mainland Mexico, with only 1 driver. If there is a permit, how to I get it now?
