yes and make sure you get it soon because it takes up to 12 weeks to get it.

Absolutely, starting Jan 8th 2007 it is required by either air or car vacations.

If you are departing soon, I would highly suggest going in A.S.A.P. as the length of time to get a passport right now is 6 - 12 weeks.
