Here is the CORRECT info. You must have a passport to FLY to and from Mexico. If you are an American citizen, you do not need a passport to travel to and from Mexico by LAND or SEA until after SUMMER 2008. See website below to read the CURRENT info...read the top half of the page carefully.

Read the provided links carefully. You'll need a passport to "enter or re-enter the U.S." You can fly; drive, sail, walk to Mexico without a passport. You'll need one to return by air for the time being but you can re-enter by bus.
