I have this STAR Alliance Round the World ticket and my flights within Brazil this August 3 Sao Paolo to Rio de Janeiro and onward 8Aug Rio to Sao Paolo onward to Miami are cancelled, it says that flights are not operating! I am here in the Middle East and there is no VARIG agent here and agents here are not aware of what's going on at Varig. Is there some kind of airline strike or something? I am a new high school math teacher, male, and single. Have never been to the Caribbean or Latin America, but would love to teach down there (I had a few offers). One of my biggest concerns frankly is the type of women, as I am ready for marriage and LOVE Latin, black, and mulatta women. However, I would like to find someone smart, educated, assertive, physically fit. I worry that such women are few and far between in some of these places, because of poverty (feel sorry for them).

The countries I am considering are Colombia, Venezula, Trinidad, Cuba, Panama, Jamaica, Dominican Republic. My ideal woman would be smart, assertive, athletic, tough, and swarthy. Thank you in advance!
