If you have a U.S. passport you do not need a visa to get into the Honduras and you do not need special vaccinations to return to the U.S.. HOWEVER, check with cdc.gov to see which vaccinations are recommended for your personal safety in Honduras. There are some nasty bugs in parts of Honduras.
