My mom is taking me on a vacation to Europe for finally graduating college this spring and we want to go in the summer or early fall. How can we go about for planning this? We want to purchase some sort of package that has tours, sightseeing, some backpacking maybe, hotel, food, and transportation all paid for but there are so many online websites so I'm not sure whether to start looking there or maybe going to a travel agency. Anyone have any ideas or tips on how to start planning, what to do, what I would need, or any other info? Thanks!

If u are aware of the concept then u probably know it`s a train travel throughout 18 European Countries.Me and my husband we were thinking if it`s a good idea to actually spend our honeymoon time in this journey.which is going to be in february.
Now I tried to read their details but it seemed quite confusing for me.I`m not sure about their journey detail.
My questions are does the ticket price includes meals and taxes?
see this link and tell me
http://www.railkey.com/tickets/specials.asp?AFF=STU
What are these extra supplements that i have to pay when i reach every country?
And if i go for a 15 day journey than do i spend the whole time inside the train or is it like i `ve to catch a train every time i reach a country?
If i have to spend nights in various hotels than is it gonna cost me a lot?Cause my budget for the whole thing is about 1700 USD.
And if it`s that than how am i supposed to go around 18 countries in 15 days?
Or what do u think about Eurail Select Pass 3 Countrys

Just a random question here. I am thinking heavily of going on a trip to Europe. I'd like to travel with like a messenger bag and have a small bottle of alcohol in it. Is this legal? Can I travel from country to country with this? Or would I have to leave it where I bought it and purchase new stuff in the next country?

Is it true that it is easier to gain experience by travelling Western Europe first? I've heard that Eastern Europe can be dodgy in some places that you may go to. Also are the women really hot from Eastern Europe?

Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech, Hungary, Serbia, Croatia???

My boyfriend and I are going to Amsterdam for NYE but he is on crutches due to recent surgery. This results in him not able to walk for too long. We're staying near the Rembrandt area and I was wondering if someone can tell us if there are many things happening for NYE around that area so he wouldn't have to travel too far from the hotel and if transportations on NYE is quite accessible? Neither one of us have been to amsterdam before and we didn't want to cancel because of his knee surgery..so anyone can recommend anything? We probably won't be able to go into any clubs so we were wondering if the cafes are opened till quite late so we can just find a good decent place and chill for the night, any recommendation would be great!

I want to backpack through Europe so badly and now would be a good time since I think I'm about to lose my job and I've read how much cheaper it will be to stay in hostels during the trip. Is it safe or not? Keep in mind that I will be traveling alone.

I know there are the Appines Mountains in the way so please just ignore that factor as if it was solid ground.
Also, I want the traveliong to be done solely at night. How long do you think it would take? 3 nights perhaps?
Does anyone know of any websites that allows calculations to be done for something like this?

Am looking for information on cheap (under $30 per person CAD for a twin or double) rooms in these cities. Does not really have to be a hostel or hotel, would consider anything else you may have ideas on. Would like fairly central to all the main tourist sites and would only need 3-4 nights at each.
I have tried all the online sites but would like some hands on knowledge from anyone who may know about a great place to stay.

Greece/Travel has been a place of exchange of knowledge, communication, and even fun, less than one year ago, until when:

1. Accounts begun being suspended for no legal and logical reason, after mass reports (evidently by multiple accounts).

2. Questions and answers started being reported and deleted upon posted.
(All my questions in this section were reported and deleted, like the ones concerning forest fires).

3. Users have been accused by private mails, of "controlling" voting for "best answers" (no one of them, though, is top answerer anywhere, or gets 5-10 best answers on daily basis).

4. Personal data started being posted, real or immaginatory ones (Question: Who keeps records?).

5. Trolls "asking" questions about the private life of other users made their "appearance".

6. Best answers begun being "granted" (5-10 daily) to the same user.

I'm asking for your honest opinion on the above issues.....
