I know there are the Appines Mountains in the way so please just ignore that factor as if it was solid ground.
Also, I want the traveliong to be done solely at night. How long do you think it would take? 3 nights perhaps?
Does anyone know of any websites that allows calculations to be done for something like this?

A piece of advice to you, it will take far more than 3 nights, if you ever reach Romania! Don´t do the trip, if your life is dear to you!!! I´m sorry, but it´s dangerous for everyone, especially for a girl!

A Happy New Year to you!

There are websites that help you finding the distance. Google maps is one.
There are likely also websites that state how far you can travel with a horse and buggy per day, would be less per night, but might be a good indicator.
I guess that a horse at night would not go faster than a person walking, so 4 miles/6km an hour, with 20 mile/30 km as a good day distance. (It might be more, but remember, it is mountains, it might also be less.)

The site did not want to calculate a distance using a Romanian town, so I used a Hungarian one, about the same distance from Italy.
The site gives a distance of nearly 800 km, about 500 miles. So with 20 miles per night, that would take 25 nights. Even when they would be able to get 50 miles it would take ten nights, but I doubt that a horse at night will be able to manage that.

I'll hop in my time machine and find out from the good people of the middle ages.

Honestly, I haven't a clue and I don't think you'll find any correct answers on here. Just guestimates that will be opinion!
sorry
