I would like to take my Father-in-Law's ashes abroad to scatter them in his favourite place Kos (Greece). Does any one know what are the rules and reg's regarding this and do I need any formal documentation?.

I'm probably going to mess it up, but its funny, I guess when heard. Spelling is wayyy off, but for the sake of yahoo..here goes:
So...A Greek guy and a Cypriot guy are talking and the Greek guy says " Kala, oli sas edo stin kupro eisaste koubari?"
and the Cyrpiot guy responds "Kai eseis stin ellada eisaste oli malakes?"

I find it really funny. You have to really understand both sides, in order to understand the joke. If someone needs an explanation...well, i'll post one later. This is my favorite joke.

My best friend is Greek and we live in New Zealand. About 3years ago he moved away and next year I'm moving up to where he lives.

We both like each other more than friends and next year we'll be more than friends.

I'm so scared because I'm not greek. Will his family have a problem with that?

It's going to be such a different way of living. Most of his friends are Greek. I get along with a few of them though.

I've never met his family.

I've tried talking to him about it but he says not to worry. But it's easy for him because he's use to it!

Any suggestions?? Thanks!

hiya me and my boyfriend are looking for a cheap break away to 1 of the greek islands
we are looking for somewhere where we can relax and have a nice rest but also has some nightlife but not mad as we are still young ?

My boyfriend is very stressed out with his job and wants to go on holiday to Greece. No tacky tourist destinations. Nice weather. With beach (not pebbled, please.) Relaxation is a must.

But where to go? I'm finding it surprisingly difficult to find much easily digestible information as there are so many possible destinations. I'm very concerned about picking an area and finding it heaving with nightclubs and tourist tack. I really don't want that!

Can anyone recommend somewhere?
