As a frequent visitor there, as for vacations in Greece you will find much history there to see. There are all kinds of maps and guide books to purchase there to help you find your way around. Also, the people are friendly and very helpful, most I have asked spoke english enough to understand my southern accent even trying to say my limited Greek words.lol
One answer has given you online places to research that will also help you. Greece is a land of many things....snow, warmth, beaches, a lot of laughter with friends, crazy traffic like most large cities worldwide, but you can find anything you would want for a vacation there.
