I want to do some hiking. I'm staying in a place called Soldeu, after spending a few days in Toulouse. I speak reasonable French. I probably won't rent a car. Anything to look out for?

My sister and I are going to Europe next summer to visity Italy, Spain or Greece and Germany. Is it better to fly into and out of the same city, or into and out of two different cities? What's the deal with Eurorail passes? Someone has told me that the trains aren't that convenient and we should fly between cities in Europe.

Is there a dish that you eat but won't confess? I mean, something that would sound crazy?

I go first. In July, when the weather was crazily hot and I couldn't eat anything, I invented a new lunch for me. I would cut out bread slices and put them in cacik. Sounds crazy, but is becomes a yummy kind of cold soup.

And another one: you put two spoons of bulgur pilavı in a bowl and add ayran until it is soupy. Looks yucky, but is yummy!

Did I ever mention that I love yogurt?

We have the brains,we have the money, we have everything ( even the uranium,provided by turkic states such as Kazakhstan), we have everything...
So why are we still buying US technology ( F-16, F-35), french technology ( AMX-30 tanks, Thales radar control,etc...)
Why don't we do it by ourselves ? So we could save our money, create more employment and even be safer ( as nobody else would have the same engines ) ?

What's your opinion about that ?

i'm spending five days in paris during my holiday. what should i see first? where should i go shopping? i mean, where are smaller prices? where is it best to eat (cheap)? i'm under 18, do i have to pay entrance fees at the museums? and, uhhhm, how much money do i need (i'm not really shopaholic, so i'm just asking, i.e. fees, food, etc.) ? :D please help quick thank you.... (am leaving tomorrow, 7 aug) :)

I want a holiday in an unspoilt village with gorgeous scenery, some historical sites, good fresh rustic food, absolutely no lary vomiting tourists. We don't require nightclubs, just a selection of rustic bars and tradtional restaurants will do.
