I know that this is an expensive time of year; so no need to tell me that. Thanks!

Go to the site, and see what is available now:
http://www.eurostar.com/dynamic/_SvBoExpressBookingTerm?_TMS=1186425347380&_DLG=SvBoExpressBookingTerm&_LANG=UK&_AGENCY=ESTAR&CID=PPCuk&lang=UK&country=UK&VT=EB
Or go to one of the other sites selling tickets:
http://www.railbookers.com/?engine=adwords!7405&keyword=eurostar+tickets&match_type=&_$ja=tsid:1036|kw:eurostar%20tickets|crid:489742348|nw:search|mt:Exact|cgn:&_$ja=tsid:1036|kw:eurostar%20tickets|crid:489742348|nw:search|mt:broad|cgn:Eurostar+Tickets

Sometimes travel organisations buy more tickets than they use, so if you are lucky you might find a packet trip that is cheaper than the ticket itself.
Just use google or so, with words like
'Paris cheap eurostar' or so.
