Europe (Continental) - May 2007

Hey guys, I am planning to take the easyjet from UK to Amsterdam, but the arrival time will be at night 21:15 pm. I haven't yet booked my accommodation, would it be far away from the airport to the city center ? How can I go to the city? Is it safe to travel at night time as I might be going there alone? Pls help, needs advice.

i have booked a holiday to crete with my wife and son and we are due to fly out on tuesday from the uk and i have just been told by a friend that i may need 6month left on my passport and i only have 2months is this true? will it stop us from going?

this year i went to turkey for a holiday,and iv been to bodrum and marmaris.But when i went to didim altinkum it was totally a diffrent picture.the roads are in a right mess. and there there are old tatty buildings scattered around which makes the place look like an old shanty town.there is also alot of construction work going on.
but it was busy in july.i don't see what it is about the place that makes people go their for holidays or to even buy apartments. when you have better resorts like fethiye,side, bodrum and marmaris.

I would prefer something fairly close to the center of town in the Lavapies area. However I need an apartment that is roughly 400 or less euros a month and furnished. I am not picky, it can be small, or even a student residency. The price is my main concern. Thanks!

If you come back with whatever nick I wont report you to Yahoo but to the internet crime department of Greek Police, so that you'll find out what it means to call others racists... After partaking in much debate about this poor coutry, I was really saddened by their plight..and want to help them in their sad state.. in fact i am extending my hand to others to also help... help them find a name and an identiy.... You see after living undr the communist propaganda regime for several decades.. they have come to truely believe they are Macedonian.. so I want to assist them in creating a new name to help them when the time comes for them to change it officially.. Here are some of my suggestions.. (Skopjeslavia, Vardar country, F.F.R.O.M., and my favourite Fyromia... all excellent in my opinion.. but my question is do you have any alternate names to help the poor culturless Slavs in that forsaken coutry?

first of all, i would like to thank everyone who answered to my question about by property abroad.
i was adviced, that i have to give more information and will be more specific to get better answers.
