We are going by the end of the month, with limited money to spend. How we can save money in lodging and have good places to sleep?. Which places are the best to visit? Which countries are most recomended to visit?

It looks like we may have a 9 hour daytime layover in Amsterdam in May. Is there anything we can do with our luggage to avoid carring it all over the city. Also what would you reccomend for a family on a budget and less than a day.

My Husband and I are moving to Ramstein AFB in October. Some poeple have told us that we cant take any electronics from America over to Germany becuase of the voltage difference. But some people said we can do it if we have a different convertor for each item....so which is it, b/c I dont want to have to get a new TV and everything just b/c we have to move?
