I haven't traveled across Europe but I have traveled in both Germany and Austria. Hands down, Austria is a winner. It's Germany without the industrialized feeling. It's absolutely beautiful. I recommend staying in Vienna and traveling to Salzburg as well. Incredible. We were there for 2 weeks for our honeymoon and I wished I could have stayed so much longer!
