Hi,
There is no any scare thing for Turkiye and Istanbul. You will be very happy if you visit Istanbul.
Well you know, Turkiye is a secular country. And we are also so hospitable and we like helps for the foreign people.
I live in istanbul since 1965 :-)

visit marmaris, datca n bodrum, golturkbuku (great place)
i visited turkey with same fears, but the at my very first night i said to myself "what the hell was i thinking?"
