I was going to book a holiday to KVG for july 07, however i entered a forum on the resort and have had reports of ongoing building work. Can anyone comment on this....is it true??

I suggest you contact the hotel directly - normally they do repairs now so as to be ready for the holiday season, it is not to their interest to miss it. Unfortunately I don't find the hotel, I only find Keffalonia Garden Village. In any case, last summer, I stayed at Lygies Studios which was really super www.lygies.com, but if you don't have a car it is impossible.

Perhaps they're renovating the place or refurbishing the rooms or re-arranging the gardens... Or perhaps they are extending their premises...
This is the period when all hotels start their maintenance, in order to be ready and welcome their guests in the forthcoming season...
