I am planning a family trip to San Juan, PR in mid-May.
How's weather there around that time?
Some say May is a hurricane season, so try to avoid it.
Some say it doesn't start until June.
I need an advice from someone with experience! =)

Any tips on travel to PR are appreciated.

If May isn't really the best time for San Juan, do you have any place to suggest for a family trip in May? I'm thinking about 3nights4days long and leaving from Washington DC.

I am going on a cruise to Bermuda in May. Our Cruise will be docked in St. George. Online I am only finding the night life in Bermuda in Hamilton. Is there any thing in St. George?

I have a choice of Riviera Maya or Aruba for vacation. I've been to Riviera Maya a few times and love it. I've never been to Aruba. My questions are:
1. Has anyone been to both and how do they compare?
2. What is a good place to stay? (I prefer tropical ambiance but not a stuffy "tea party" lol)
3. Are there any all-inclusives in Aruba?
4. How is the snorkeling (and where is it?)
5. How is the water off the beaches (aqua? is there snorkeling off beaches?)
6. What is there to do besides the beach?

I'm planning a trip to Cuba in the next year and am working on planning accommodations. I'm looking at taking a tent and sleeping in it a good deal of the nights. Are there a good number of campgrounds in Cuba? About how much would a night at a campground cost? Are they safe? Do the locals mind camping(I've heard they're offended if you shun casas particulaires...)?

We are going to take a cruise from San Juan, Puerto Rico the end of March 2007. We need a good, clean,hotel downtown near the cruise terminal for 2 nights until the ship leaves. We are looking for something not too expensive but with a swimming pool.

I am looking to go to Aruba in Sept and I can not decide about getting the All Inclusive or not. It will be about 450 dollars more per person for 6 nights. What if the food isnt that great? How expensive would drinks be without this option? The hotel we will be staying at is the Holiday Inn Sunspree.

I returned from one week in Varadero on Saturday. Since Sat evening I have had an upset stomach and the runs. I didn't drink the water or any alcohol and didn't eat much as the food wasn't great. Is it normal to have a mild tummy upset on returning to normal food and water?
