My husband is from Puerto Rico...I have yet to meet his family. I have learned they are racist against white people.(ironic that his family would be the racists huh) They can't hate us too much though, since many of them down there are in the marines.

What are some of the stereotypes should I expect to face? Not that I care or would try to change for anybody else, just want a heads up.

This is mainly for Puerto Ricans, but all else are welcome, go ahead, Im not sensitive. I wont think your racist...but want to know...what are some things you hear racist people saying about us?

For those of you that have done the snorkling excursions would you recommend taking a snorkling lesson class before going on vacation and doing a snorkling excursion in the ocean? Thanks!

1. Will a rental car be necessary? I'm thinking maybe just taxi
or shuttle bus, or rent a bike? Mostly just going to relax at the
resort (Oyster Bay Resort). Maybe not too practical to rent a

Everybody know you could have a KFC side by side in Trinidad and both will be filled with people. So you know the stuff tasty (It may not be good for you but it tasty).

But do you think visitors should be warned that the spicy crisp chicken is really fire to the mouth of a visitor?

When you go back to Trini and tast a KFC don't you feel like you missed it?
