I am a White Hispanic and I am going to apply for my ID card tomorrow, one of the questions to fill is skin color. I am puzzled because the definition of "brown" and "light brown" for Trinidadians is quite different to other places. Should I put "brown"? "light brown" "White?". My skin tone is like Jessica Alba.

What can them “Big shots and Big butts” in the Trinidad and Tobago Government have do to bring back the best artistically, best dramatically, best multi-cultural, organised talent shows in the world; and to come from a small country called Trinidad and Tobago?
Let them change the name if it’s too political, so what, but bring back The Prime Minister Best Village Completions! Finance is not an excused; those shows can generate a lot of money, tourism, employment, local entertainment, and another “thing” of pride for us; “the people.”

Me and my friend are planning on taking 10 days to go on vacation next june or july. We really want to go to Jamaica very badly mostly cuz of all the music and in july they have a huge reggea concert called sumfest. But there are lots of things we've been reading on how dangerous it is (2 girls by ourselves). Its our first vacation outside of the states and we wanna go tropical. Any ideas on where to stay in Jamaica(montego bay, ocho rios, negril?) or any other caribbean islands you recommend that we could get similar atmosphere and music?? we also want to take the trip that will make our money go the farthest. we are budgeting for $2500 a piece.

Has anyone been there before? What's the weather like? Where did you stay? What was your favorite thing to do? You don't have to answer all those questions, but if you've been to Grand Caymen, give me any information you can on it!! Thanks!

OK I know Carnival is we t'ing. But I love Christmas and for me going home for Christmas is better than going for Carnival. With all the food, drinking and visiting people you know and people who you don't know it couldn't be better.

Before you answer think about when last you went paranging or wake up Christmas morning to these things:

1) Mummy put up new curtains and the living room look like something from a catalogue.

2) Christmas morning the house smelling of fresh baked bread and sweetbread.

3) The one time a year you eating Turkey.

4) It bount to rain Christmas evening.

5) Christmas is not Christmas without a Scunter song "Ah want a piece of pork?"

6) Puncha cream!!

7) Friends coming over to your house with not a gift in hand but ready to eat and drink you out of house.

8) No work on Boxing Day.

9) A Boxing Night Fete.

10) New Years Night band launching fete.

Feel free to add to the list and let me know what you think.

If you've ever been to Aruba, as you are going from the lighthouse twoards the highrise hotels, a little before the marriott there will be a shipwreck all the way out of the ocean called the antilla. A little up from there is another shipwreck about 20-30 feet off shore. It is in shallow water and almost all of the boat is sticking out. it's not split in half or tilted to its side or anything its normal. The whole boat is rusted and i'd say the boat is about 30 feet long. Does anyone know the name of it and has anyone gone snorkling around it? if so how deep is the water around there and what type of sea life is around there?
