When I was there they didn't have AC just ceiling fans, the food is okay, we went off on our own ab it, the oceanfront cottage is beautiful, we went to the Dennis bar ( close by ) to eat and the food was great, I wouldn't use the cabs they rip you off if your going to the market or casino.....take vitamin B1 tablets for fear of sand fly bites, and have fun.

Why is this in jamaica section if your asking about Antigua? Its not the same place don't get mix up. Cocobay is located on 10 acres in the village of Valley Church on the western coast of Antigua, approximately 20 minutes from the capital city of St. John's and just 30 minutes from VC Bird International Airport.

Hi Gemma - yes I stayed at Cocobay resort the first week in February. It was fantastic, really quiet and relaxing - I am a fussy eater and was worried about the food, but I needent have worried at all - it was excellent.
I have seen some negative reports on the resort, but i guess it depends on what you want from your holiday - I am not sure where other people who have answered your question have stayed though,,, there is NO nightlife at all - it's pure relaxation in the evenings.. and it's truly a beautiful place!

Yes, It's beautiful. Lots to do and the people are very friendly and will do anything for you. Don't forget to tip them as they are mostly poor.
The night life is great if you have the stamina.
Lots of weed if you like that sort of thing.
