That week is Holy Week (April 1 - April 7 / last week of Lent). Not everything will be closed, maybe a majority on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter Sunday). But big stores, shopping malls may not be closed for that long.

For example the biggest mall in PR will close on Good Friday and Easter Sunday (April 8).

Most restaurants will be open (fast food, chain rest.).

Touristic attractions usually are open. I checked some Old San Juan forts and they do not have any closing dates.

Hope I helped!

Nah... It used to be back in the day that shops would close during Easter. Not the case anymore. You can find prety much anything you want at any time in Puerto Rico nowadays.

Enjoy!
