Well I was born and raised in the British Virgin Islands. All of the islands and surrounding cays are BEAUTIFUL! But I would chose Tortola since it is the largest of them all and might tend to have the experience you are looking for.
Such as:
nice white sandy beaches to relax on
a botanical garden
the cruise ships docks in the middle of town
quiet get-away spots
beautiful night clubs
and Bomba Shack a well famous night club is also located in Tortola.
There also nice restaurants and friendly workers.
However if you are looking for an even smaller place to be there is Virgin Gorda which is known for the Baths ( a beach that allows you to swim through boulders) Quite a nice experience!! Here is a link that can help you decide! http://www.bviwelcome.com/

Try visiting Anegada. Its a very beautiful little island, about 21 sq. miles. You said it was a honeymoon, so therefore, I would hope that you want to spend a lot of time in your honeymoon suite and not exhaust yourself with all the hustle and bustle of a bigger island. While there you can take a sail to neighboring islands as well, and they're only 10-15 minutes away. Best Wishes to you. Hope you enjoy your honeymoon on any island you choose.
