i heard u need a visa to Jamaica now,as there is a cricket champs goin on there.is this true?

Yes you will need your passport and a return ticket for reentry into the UK or England,The UK is exempt from that list of countries who's citizens must have a passport so too is USA,Japan and Canada.
So there you have it you need nothing,don't be concern about the Caribbean passport and Visa initiative that wont affect you if your coming from one of the countries above.
Hope you enjoy your flight,and one more thing there are no Visa requirements of you you can stay up to six months.

You just need a passport. The UK is exempt from the CARICOM Visa program which is required by certain nationals from various countries who will be visiting Jamaica and other CARICOM members (except Haiti) during the cricket championships.

For a short vacation kind of trip a passport is all that is needed. It will be needed more to re-enter the UK than for entrance into Jamaica.

I am from Germany and did not need a visa, however your passport needs to be valid for 6 months. Call the Jamaican Embassy in your are to make sure, though.

your UK passport will work you need a passport not a visa.
