Dress code , this will depend on what part of the country .
In general Haitians are well dressed , with American style clothes.
Many people wear "Pepe" clothes that are second hand clothes ,that are sold in the street. Those clothes come from the States, and Miami warehouses in the Haiti district are full of second hand clothes destined for Haiti. The Haitains are very clean, so they are constantly washing their clothes. Also there exists taylors and even someone with a poor background will get their clothes tailored.
The school kids all have school uniforms , which look wonderful , but are expensive for families. For schools it's a source of income.
Sundays , it's fun to see little girls wearing beautiful dresses , with ribbeans in their hair..
Hair styles are quite conservative.
Also girls do not wear mini skirts .
I know a night watchman in Haiti, he owns more clothes than I do.

Generally, people from Haiti dress in whatever they can find. Every city has a part of the city designated as a "pepe" which is just piles of used clothing on the sides of the roads. Haitian's will rummage through these piles of used items and find something they like and buy it. A lot of the clothing is shipped into haiti as foreign aid from developed countries. Many Haitians actually dress surprisingly well for being so poor. They look cleaner and more dressed up going to church on sunday than many people I know in the states.

Just regular?
The regular people just wear jeans and a shirt?
There are no 'set' dress ways. (not like how africa = dashiki)

They do the best they can. Many people only have one set of clothes and will be prepared to work naked in the fields to keep that precious outfit neat and tidy. I heard of three women who had opened an orphanage and who took it in turns to go to church because all three shared one pair of shoes! Nearly everybody is wearing secondhand clothes, but with great pride and dignity. It is very important for them to dress modestly. There is no national dress as such: people wear whatever they are able to come by in terms of clothes.
