I'm assuming that an ATM directly associated with a bank will not pay out the full exchange rate. What about any "general" ATM's (ideally, would have no or a low transaction fee).

The chicken was great and the sauce .. oh the sauce! Dip you fries, dip your fingers! It's been 25 years since I've been back though. Does it still exist?

Please also state the nearest U.S. city closest to the border from Montreal.

Am thinking about a little trip to U.S. close to Montreal.

I have lived outside of Canada for many years teaching English and am not interested in continuing in that field of work. I would like to start taking classes and retrain for another line of work such as urban planning.

Would I be able to find work with only English and minimal French? I don't expect a high powered job in an office but I just need a job to keep body and soul together. I can scrub a toilet!

I was wondering if any of you know which strip club to go in montreal that has a friendly atmosphere for women. One of my friends (who's a girl) has never had a lap dance and I really want to take her to a strip club on her birthday. We're looking for female strippers, not male. Thanks

Are most destinations, like Old Montreal, in walkable distances?

I am going to be visiting Montreal for 1 day next week, because of the vicinity it is to where I will be staying in New York, and I want to purchase a Leafs jersey, I learned recently that Montreal has its own hockey team called the Canadians and that it will be a bit of a problem to find a Leaf jersey, I need to find a shop that sells them in various sizes from small to at least 6XLT, various people whom I know would also like one. I am not a fan of hockey and I wanted something that I could say I bought in Canada and people would recognise when I returned home. It's a weird thing but it's what I do when I travel. Thank for reading and if anybody responds thanks!

Heading off for a trip to Europe in a few months and flying out of Dorval/Trudeau. Can anyone recommend good long-term parking that shuttles to the airport terminals?

I'm american, so je ne parle francais. I saw a friend write that as an away message and then she put a lot of beer mugs next to it and I saw it my bus's display screen on my way home.

What is it?

I am an electrician in Seattle looking to relocate to Montreal. I make about $850 U.S. a week here and pay about $1000 U.S. a month in rent which I split with my girlfriend. I am not sure about the electricians wage in Montreal though. I will be receiving my Canadian citizenship at some point also (my father is Canadian). I also speak some french. so where would be the best spot to start living.

I live in Ottawa and pretty much everything is closed on Canada day. I'm going on vacation to Montreal, so I'm wondering if everything is closed on July 1st as well.
