Closest is Mont-Bruno, half an hour by car, kind of a baby hill, there might actually be public transport to it.

Up north you have St-Sauveur and around there, little over an hour, lots of arranged-bus-situations. Somewhat bigger than Bruno but known more for night-life than serious skiing/boarding.

Mont Tremblant and Mount Sutton are better but might take a couple hours. Again there ought to be bus arrangements to be made.

You would need more than just a car to get from Montreal to an area with snow. You'll have to wait for winter.

You will have to wait awhile this time of year you would get grass stains on your ski outfit, in the winter there are buses to Mont tremblant and the Laurentians area, this time of year the only ice you will find in that area is in the cocktails or the snow cones (niege sucre).
