I have come to Toronto for official work for 1 month. Now on Sunday I have to go to Montreal and come back on Monday. Obviously I will not get time to see around Montreal. But if I go from Toronto to Montreal by train instead of flight, will it be a beautiful journey? I mean to say will the train go through places with natural beauty?.... And can anyone tell me the most important attraction in Montreal that I should not miss if I have some time on Monday?

I have an upcoming montreal trip planned from vermont. I know my way there from riding with friends but I am now going alone. I would like to know what affordable hotel is the easiest to drive to. In the city. Driving in city traffic kindof freaks me out. But I want to be walking distance to the hot spots... any suggestions to good night clubs? I've been to Dome and to sir winston churchills pub. Someting that plays hip hop music would be terrific.

I've been thinking of visiting Montreal but I don't speak any French. Will it be a problem or can I still get by with English?? Also, will the people there be mad at me for not speaking french, like they would in Paris, or will they be cool about it?? Would really like to know before going there. Thanks.

I got to see Vancouver, my first place in Canada to visit back in July and I really enjoyed it. Now I'm thinking of visiting Montreal. So if anyone is from there or been there, I would like to know what it's like there. What are some good places to see?? When is the best time to go there?? Etc. Most of all I would like to know what to expect when I get there?? Considering that it is a French speaking city?? Thanks.
