Is it new, did it change names? Never heard of it before the last few Answers questions.

It opened in 2003 in Old Montreal. The building was constructed in 1873 and housed the Merchant's Bank prior to being closed for several years and then being renovated and re-opening as a hotel.

It was designed by Wily Hopkins, who also did the Montreal Telegraph and the Great Scottish Life Insurance buildings.
