I grew up in Montreal!

How am I supposed to summarize the best part of twenty years in one sentence?!?

What would you like to know exactly?

The list is endless...

This link might help answer a few of your questions though...

P.S. French-Canadians girls are easy?!? And English speaking ones aren't??? As if! Oh please...

Montreal: The best are the cafes and restaurants on St-Denis or Peel street with an outside terrace/patio where you can sit, grab a cold beer with some great food and do some people watching.

There's also the underground city to explore, the botanical gardens (if you're in that kind of stuff), the olympic stadium's leaning tower (tallest in the world), the biodome, little Italy, Chinatown, the old port and old Montreal.

There's a cool attraction, jetboating on the St-Lawrence river "Saute Mountons" http://www.jetboatingmontreal.com/

Oh and you HAVE to go to Schwartz delicatessen on St-Laurent boulevard, the BEST smoked meat sandwiches ANYWHERE.

The weather in Montreal is weird, some months tons of rain sometimes really hot and humid.

I live in Montreal. Our weather is damp, and can be frigid during January and February, and very hot and humid in July and August.

And like the other poster mentioned, most francophone women do have a bit of a reputation. When I used to travel more, I'd always tell people that I was from Ontario (where I was born)

You might not like the sugar pie, but try the poutine!

Montrealers do have a joie de vivre for the most part, and some of the brasseries and taverns in older parts of town, like Magnan's in Pointe St. Charles might be worth a visit. Magnum's is famous for its roast beef.

Montreal does have excellent restaurants.

I went to Montreal when I was single, and I liked the nightlife. I found the women to be very easy! LOL. I like the fact that you can buy alcohol at the convenience store... I also participated in a really good riot which I hear happens all the time there! The cops didn't break out the horses though...

The weather was hot and muggy.

I was in Quebec last year. I really thought the history of Quebec and why they speak french even though under English rule was very interesting. The old part of town was fun to see. Avoid the sugar pie dessert.
