How many hours is it from New York, United States To Sydney, Australia? Also, do you have to stop, Like can you just leave from New York and just fly to Sydney, Australia without stopping anywhere? In another words, just fly straight to Australia from N.Y

We are going to Australia and New Zealand (south island) for 10 days in each place in December. Do you have any ideas of how a family of four can get around and stay cheaply? Train? Rental car? Ideas of Must see places?
Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Going to Sydney in 2 days (my first International trip out of the US) for 2 weeks!!! Would like to do some of the touristy things, but I'm more interested in the non tourist locations. Would like to get a feel for true Australian culture.

I'll be staying at Star City, which I guess is in the Pyrmont area.

And...where can I get a good Vegemite sandwich?

Thanks!!!

I am still in shock, how is everyone coping with the pain of losing two amazing people we loved.

Am worried for Terri too, she has a big job ahead, wish there was something I could do to help, money is good but she must feel so alone and overcome with grief.

you experienced being an exchange student? Are there chaperones? It is with a group called People to People, I believe it was started by Eisenhower in the 50's. With such a short trip, would they stay in a hotel or with host families? The parent meeting is not until October 15, so I hoped you could help me out with some information while I'm waiting. Thanks!
